Our Team

Ayesha joined Amius in July 2016 as Head of Legal & Compliance. She previously worked at Marex Spectron for over 6 years, initially in the Legal department and subsequently in Compliance as Deputy Head of Compliance. Ayesha is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

Ben started out developing bespoke financial software for  Maple Securities in 1997, and continued to do so at UBS O’Connor, Marshal Wace and Concordia Advisors. In 2013 he joined Amius as a Business Technologist before gaining additional responsibilities.

Farah joined Amius in 2020 as part of the acquisition of a brokerage firm that is now Amius Futures. In 2021 she was promoted to Head of Futures, bringing over 15 years of experience and knowledge within the space. Farah has a passion for superb customer service and building a strong team that excels in extensive market knowledge and execution.

Jessica joined Amius in 2011 and has been pivotal in establishing Amius’ global sales presence in London, Singapore and in Latin America. Jessica manages the sales team globally, and is responsible for growing our network of clients, in addition to actively managing several of these client relationships, with a focus on the cocoa sector.

Laura joined Amius in April 2016. She previously worked in the finance division of Trafigura, before becoming Financial Controller of the Group’s asset management division. She is a qualified Management Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Matt joined Amius in 2010. Before taking on his current role, Matt worked for several financial institutions and commodity trading companies in a broad range of commercial finance roles. At Amius he has specialised in the operational trade life cycle of our business units. He is a qualified Management Accountant and member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). In his spare time, he likes to keep fit, and has recently become a girls football coach for the local club.

After an eight-year career in the British Army, Rupert worked as a project manager in central government technology programmes. On completion of an MBA from Bayes business school, Rupert moved to Citi, where he worked in private banking before moving to be Assistant Chief of Staff to the CEO of Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Rupert joined Amius as Chief of Staff in 2022, focusing on governance and strategy.

Sahan joined Amius in 2019 and has over 15 years of trading and risk management experience. Prior to joining Amius, he spent most of his career trading Emerging Markets and currency derivatives and has held several senior roles at RBS Global Markets, ANZ and UBS Investment Bank.
